THE ROLE

As a result of continued growth, we are looking for a full-time C++ or C# Software Developer to work on the development of a new software solution for one of our international clients.  You’ll need to build a strong relationship with the customer and act as their trusted advisor; helping them to deliver their objectives through the pragmatic use of technology.

Working as part of a skilled, cross-disciplinary software team, the role will require someone who is innovative and self-motivated with excellent skills in communication and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, development and testing of high-quality software for our client
  • Working effectively as part of a team
  • Producing good quality documentation

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a candidate with a passion for technology who is ready for a new challenge. 

Experience in C++ or C# is essential. A knowledge of Linux, Rabbit MQ and Agile development processes would be very useful but we recognise that good developers can transfer their skills from one technology to another.

Strong candidates will enjoy using technology creatively and have an ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The role would probably suit a recent graduate or someone with one or two years’ experience.

Essential Skills:

  • C++ or C#
  • Good interpersonal skills

Desirable skills:

  • Linux
  • RabbitMQ
  • Knowledge of Docker
  • Familiarity with Agile Development
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Unit testing
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as GIT, and branching strategies
  • Continuous integration and build automation
